Our Division has a long history of research in various types of chronic lung diseases. These include airway diseases such as asthma, bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome, and cystic fibrosis as well as environmental health and lung fibrosis. We also have one of the largest lung transplant programs in the world, and have an active research group focused on molecular mechanisms of acute lung allograft dysfunction, patient referral for transplantation, community engagement, and interventional trials.
