Open Rank (Clinical Practice) – Sleep Medicine
The successful candidate will provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings and will focus on outpatient care in the Harborview Medicine Sleep Clinic, as well as inpatient service based on division and section needs at the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) and Harborview Medical Center (HMC). Teaching responsibilities will include clinical bedside teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. University of Washington faculty are expected to engage in teaching, research, and service.
Assistant or Associate Professor (WOT) – ICU
The successful candidate will conduct both day and night ICU-based clinical work with patient care efforts at Harborview Medical Center (HMC) and the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC), Montlake and Northwest Campuses. PCCSM staffs a range of general and specialized ICU services across these diverse campuses. These positions frequently include clinical bedside teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, and often involve multi-disciplinary care of complex patients. Positions may be comprised of a mix of daytime and night-time assignments or full-time night assignments in one or more ICUs depending on clinical need and provider interest.

The successful candidate will provide care primarily in the outpatient setting with additional opportunities for inpatient care based on interests and division clinical needs. The candidate will focus on management of patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD), including diagnosis, complex medical decision making to guide treatments, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Patient care efforts will occur at the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC), Montlake and Northwest campuses, and Harborview Medical Center (HMC). Teaching responsibilities will include clinical bedside teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Open rank (WOT) – Critical Care
The successful candidate will engage in scholarship, teaching, and service, and will be expected to conduct funded critical care research such as the design and execution of interventional ICU trials, ICU clinical outcomes research, or large-scale data analysis/application of machine learning to critical care. Clinical work will be primarily inpatient and focus on critical care the University of Washinton Medical Center (UWMC), Montlake and Northwest campuses, and Harborview Medical Center (HMC). Teaching activities will include attending on clinical service and mentoring trainees.
Teaching Associate (APP) – Interventional Pulmonology
The successful candidate will provide interventional pulmonology (IP) care as part of the IP service at UWMC-Montlake under the supervision of the Director of Interventional Pulmonology.
Associate Division Head for Clinical Affairs – Clinical Practice
Reporting to the Division Head and the Department of Medicine Executive Clinical Leadership Team, the Associate Division Head for Clinical Affairs will provide strategic clinical leadership and oversight across the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. The role will ensure high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care across inpatient, intensive care, ambulatory, pulmonary function testing, sleep, and procedural settings and across all divisional practice sites. Responsibilities include establishing clinical standards and quality benchmarks; monitoring clinical quality, safety, access, utilization, patient experience, and faculty performance; addressing clinical performance, professionalism, and medical staff matters in partnership with appropriate departmental and health system leaders; and overseeing credentialing processes.
